Fake Rock is a rock trinket added in The Reheated Update.

Effects

• Drops a Key when picked up the first time.
• In rooms that have a locked door that requires a key, the first Rock destroyed will drop a Key.

Notes

• Rooms connected to Shops, Treasure Rooms, Libraries, Vaults, Dice Rooms, and Planetariums can have rocks that contain keys.
  • Rooms connected to types of rooms that have locked doors that don't use keys to open, such as Arcades and Bedrooms, will not have rocks that drop anything to unlock these doors.
• If there are multiple locked doors in a room, then each subsequent rock destroyed will drop another key, until there is enough for each door.
• Doors with more than one lock, such as Vaults, will cause rocks to drop a Key Ring instead.

Interactions

• Trinket Multipliers / Henge Rock: No effect.
• Azurite Spindown: Using Azurite Spindown on Fake Rock rerolls it into Sandstone.
